My favourite part of the school is the Swimming Complex as I go there thrice a week for my water polo training. Furthermore, there is a poolside cafe at the swimming complex. Whenever I go for trainings, I would eat there with my water polo friends. We would usually talk about a variety of subjects ranging from games to studies. It is a good place for me to unwind after school. This place links to my identity as I really like to swim.
Although the trainings may be though sometimes, I still really enjoy as I am going through it with my friends. This really inspires me to train harder this year to try to win a medal for Hwa Chong. Whenever I walk past the pool, I would reminisce about my the times during my water polo training. By remembering these arduous journeys, I would constantly remind myself to strive further and achieve better in both my academic and sports areas.
This pool was built by the generous donations of the Hwa Chong alumni. When I grow older, I would most certainly remember my times in this school and try to contribute back to this school.
In conclusion, this is the place in Hwa Chong which I have the most memories in and the place I would enjoy myself.
