A Book That Impacted Me

The title of the book that impacted is,"Have a Little Faith" by Mitch Albom. It is a non-fiction book. This book is about how the author went through a eight year journey between two worlds -two men, two faiths and two communities. The story begins when the author's eighty-two-year-old rabbi from his old hometown asks him to deliver his eulogy. As the author feels not worthy of doing so, he decides to understand the rabbi better. This results in him going back to faith to religion which he left years ago. The author also meets a pastor who was a former drug addict who preaches to the homeless and poor.

This book has impacted me as it contains many lessons about how to endure when difficult things happen. In the book, when the pastor's church roof was collapsing, the author donated money to help him. This really impacted me as it taught me to help those in need. Furthermore, as the rabbi passed away, the book taught me about the profound comfort of believing in something bigger than yourself.
